offering of a merger and a blank cheque to another company.
German automakers are to produce solid-state battery cells in a joint venture starting in 2024. QuantumScape will produce batteries used in most electric vehicles
currently used in Tesla's Model 3, the electric car of the future, and in the next generation of electric vehicles. It will be part of a partnership with VW to produce the batteries for the Zoe, "said Quantum Scape co-founder and CEO Peter
Schindler, who is monitoring progress by Tesla and other electric vehicle manufacturers such as Tesla Motors and BMW.
However, electric vehicles require different batteries that use new technologies that deliver more
power and weigh less than older batteries of a similar size. Therefore, electric vehicle batteries are much larger than those of conventional vehicles. They typically weigh several hundred pounds, can cost thousands of dollars, and need
to be replaced every few years, and are therefore far too large for a conventional vehicle battery.
Electric vehicle batteries also need to provide a much larger amount of electricity, and owners of these vehicles need
more electricity than normal consumers. As electric vehicle batteries are larger than those of other electric cars, they must be larger than those of other electric vehicles. Many electric vehicles require special power plants to recharge
their batteries, so the owner of such a vehicle needs more electricity than a normal consumer. When an electric vehicle is exhausted, it must be charged or, when connected to a plug to recharge its battery, it cannot drive for more than
a few hours without being charged at the station.
To make electric vehicle batteries more efficient and cost-effective - and effective - the scientists are also working to charge the batteries faster, thus making them
more energy-efficient and thus more useful.

by Tesla at number 2 and then BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Ford at number 3.
